OS X Leopard Preview

Apple have announced that Steve Jobs and co will kick start the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote preview of Mac OS X Leopard. WWDC starts on Monday 7th August and runs until the 11th in sunny San Francisco.

Holly moley! Would you take a look at that. Macs do Windows too. Boot Camp is in Public Beta. So if you are using an Intel based Mac you can now run Windows XP natively. All you need to know is right here.

Boot Camp will be built into OS X 10.5. This is news indeed. Good news for those like myself who need access to both platforms as part of their job. It will be very interesting to see how this is received by hardcore Mac lovers.

Will Apple Adopt Windows? According to this article it’s a possibility. The idea that Apple will decide to dump its OS in favour of Windoze does make me giggle. In other news Ferrari have announced it will cease to make its own engines instead the company will be using engines from old Fiat Pandas to power their super cars.

According to Think Secret Apple are soon to release an iPod sans click wheel. The new iPod display will cover the entire front surface utilising a touch screen interface for user interaction.
