Months of speculation ended today as Steve Jobs announced the much anticipated iPhone at Macworld San-Francisco.

With a large multi-touch display the iPhone combines three products - mobile phone, widescreen iPod, and an internet communications device with email and web browsing.

“iPhone is a revolutionary and magical product that is literally five years ahead of any other mobile phone. We are all born with the ultimate pointing device—our fingers—and iPhone uses them to create the most revolutionary user interface since the mouse.” Steve Jobs

The iPhone includes an SMS application with a full QWERTY keyboard, if your like me and spend about 30 minutes sending a small text message this is a real blessing.
